The Golden Bear waves good-bye on July 22, 2005 as he stops to pose on the swilken bridge one last time at St. Andrews. This framed 16x20 photo has been personally hand signed by Jack Nicklaus. This piece comes double matted and framed in a wood frame. In 1960, at age 20, Nicklaus entered the U.S. Open and finished second by two strokes, having posted the lowest score ever by an amateur. Two years later, as a pro, Nicklaus beat Arnold Palmer in a final-round playoff to become the youngest-ever winner of the U.S. Open. Nicklaus’ tally of 18 Major titles remains unequalled, as does his total of six victories in the Masters. Jack Nicklaus, who was still winning Major tournaments at age 42, retired from PGA competition in 2005. This product includes the official "Golden Bear" hologram and a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Mounted Memories. Measures 28'' x 27 1/4'' x 1”. E-mail a friend about this item. |
